Sediment properties data of Advancing Resilience Measures for Vegetated Coastlines (ARM4VEG), Guyana

This collection contains data collected during mangrove-mudflat campaign in Guyana, during the PhD Thesis project of Uwe Best. It is being made public both to act as supplementary data for publications and the final PhD thesis document, as well as to allow for open usage by other researchers in their own work.<br><br>Soil samples are collected at all measurement locations along transect MB, from the top layer (&lt;2cm) of the soil. In addition to conducting a particle size analysis, the organic matter content is analyzed. Along the transect, measurements for the sediment properties were collected including the dry and bulk density, grain size, water content and atterberg limits. <br>The README file contains additional detail on the structure of the data.

本数据集收录了乌维·贝斯特（Uwe Best）博士论文研究项目期间，在圭亚那开展红树林滩涂野外科考作业所采集的数据。本次公开该数据集，一是为相关学术出版物及最终博士学位论文提供补充数据，二是供其他研究人员在其研究工作中开放使用。

研究人员沿MB样带的全部测量点位采集了土壤表层（<2厘米）的土样。除开展粒径分析外，同时对土壤有机质含量进行测定。沿该样带，科研团队还采集了沉积物的多项属性测量数据，包括干密度、容重、粒径、含水率以及阿特贝界限（Atterberg limits）。
