Shukr al-Sleibi (born in 1920 from Bethlehem) interviewed by Abeer Michel al-Sleibi (granddaughter of interviewee) on 16 May 2006. <br>He discusses the following: locust plague of 1915 and the Arab Revolt of 1936-39; some people in Bethlehem used to sell their land to Jewish immigrants in the mandate period. <br>Original audio recording: cassette tape. Transcript: word for word. In the original collection at Bethlehem University this cassette tape was categorised as File 22 of Box 18. <br>This fillet exists as part of the Ottoman Empire and World War I collection within the Bethlehem University Oral History Project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.<br>
