An Open Dataset for Activity Recognition in Smart Home Environments Using IMU, Ambient, and Radar Data

This dataset was collected in the LIARA smart apartment at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC) for human activity recognition (HAR). Participants performed activities of daily living (ADL) while synchronized multimodal sensors recorded ambient environmental signals, ultra-wideband (UWB) radar range profiles (Novelda XeThru X4M200), and 6-axis IMU wristband data. Modalities included: AmbientSensors, IMU, and UWB (JSON files). Camera and RGB-D data are excluded from this public release. Ethics approval: UQAC Research Ethics Board, certificate ID 2019-202.
