Blumeria graminis (B.g.) , the causal agent of the powdery mildew disease on cereal and wild grasses, exist in several highly host specific formae speciales (ff.ssp.). Here, we created a chromosome-level assembly of B.g. f. sp. triticale isolate THUN-12 with a combination of long-read PacBio sequencing and scaffolding according to a genetic map.
