Replication Data for: The lightfastness of modern fountain pen inks: ink selection and consequences for document preservation

Colorimetry data for blue, black and iron gall fountain pen inks. Samples exposed to ~100 Mlxh light dose using a 3000 K, 95 CRI, LED at ~22 klx illuminance. Diffuse reflectance measurements taken with a Konica Minolta CM-26d spectrophotometer at ~20 dose increments giving vis-reflectance in the 400 to 740 nm range (10 nm increments). Raw data is presented as vis-reflectance and colour values. Calculated colour difference ΔE is given relative to the original colour and relative to the substrate (ΔEs) using the CIEDE2000 formula. Weber contrast is given as Cw for the ink relative to the substrate using CIE Y values. Two files are provided: a. CSV with numerical data; b. Excel with numerical data and also rendered colour swatches in sRGB.
