Dromiciops gliroides isolate:BGI_D_gliro Genome sequencing and assembly

Here we firstly present a draft genome of South American marsupial, Monito del Monte (Dromiciops gliroides), the single extant species of Microbiotheria. With this newly released genome, we clarify the long the controversy over the deep marsupial speciation process and focus on mapping signatures of ILS during the marsupial radiation.
