Whole genome sequencing of aggressive prostate cancer in African men

African American men are more likely to die from prostate cancer compared to other ethnic groups. Adjusting for lifestyle factors, African ancestry remains a significant risk factor. Genetics is a poorly understood contributor to this disparity. Here we performed deep tumor-normal whole genome sequencing for aggressive (Gleason score ≥8) primary cancer in men from Africa.
