Diversity and ecology of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi community associated with Cryptomeria japonica

This research investigates the diversity and ecology of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) associated with Cryptomeria japonica. The specific objectives were (1) to elucidate the within-site variation in the AMF community and the factors that explain such variation; (2) to clarify the seasonal variation in and between the root and soil AMF community yearlong; (3) to describe the effects of time, thinning, and neighboring plants on the AMF community.
