Digital Archive from an Archaeological Excavation at Bishopton Lane, Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire, 2020-2021

This collection comprises site images, a report, vector drawing, and spreadsheet data from an archaeological excavation at land at Bishopton Lane, Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire. The excavation was conducted by Headland Archaeology between November 2020 and June 2021. The excavation revealed a mid-sized complex Roman rural settlement. The earliest excavated features comprised a number of sub-enclosures broadly dated to mid-to-late Iron Age-early Roman period on the basis of radiocarbon dates and minimal pottery. This developed into a larger complex farmstead during the 1st to 3rd century, with two distinct phases.
