Gene database of Mycobacteroides abscessus strain FLAC013

<i>Mycobacteroides abscessus</i> belongs to a complex of mycobacteria that are multi-drug resistant and causes lung, skin and soft tissue infections in human. Common in soil and water environment, the microbe could also infect other human organs, thereby, marking it as clinically important. This work sought to provide fundamental information about the genetic repertoire of <i>M. abscessus</i> strain FLAC013 through processing the annotated genome sequence of the species obtained from Genbank. Comprising gene name, gene function, and gene sequence, the resource should find use in functional genomics studies seeking to link particular genes to specific pathogenic mechanisms endowed by the bacterium.
