Japanese Carpenter Ant Trajectory Data (X Y coordinates)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains high-resolution movement trajectories (x,y coordinates) for the ant species Camponotus japonicus. The data was collected to investigate the spatial dynamics and orientation of ants of different size classes—major (L), media (M), and minor (S)—within a controlled laboratory environment. The experiments were conducted over a one-hour period for each colony, providing a comprehensive look at ant behavior under these conditions. The data is organized into folders, where each folder's name represents the colony ID. This ID is also the date on which the colony was collected and the experiment was performed. Inside each folder, the data is provided in CSV files, with file names indicating both the data type and the size class of the ants. For example, listX_L.csv contains the x-coordinates for the major ants. Each CSV file contains 16 columns, with each column representing an individual ant, as 16 ants were tracked simultaneously. The data consists of a time series of measurements recorded at 29 frames per second (fps). The measurement details are as follows. The x and y coordinates are given in pixels, with the top-left corner of the image set as the origin (0,0). The image width was set such that the maximum x-coordinate is 360 and the minimum is 0. The maximum of y-coordinate is 0 and the minimum is -360.
