Expression data from mouse circulating Ly6C-low subset of monocytes (patrolling monocytes)

The transcription factor Spic regulates genes associated with heme and iron metabolism. We used microarrays to identify genes regulated by the transcription factor Spic in patrolling monocytes. To identify Spic-regulated genes in patrolling monocytes, we isolated Ly6C-low monocytes from peripheral blood of Spic heterozygous and Spic knockout mice that were previously exposed to LPS and performed gene expression analysis of these cells using microarray.
