De-identified Dataset and R Analysis Pipeline for Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profiles, Academic Stress, and Health-Professional Advice Seeking among Undergraduate Nursing Students

This record contains the de-identified dataset, documentation, derived reproducibility outputs, and R analysis pipeline supporting the manuscript “Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profiles, Academic Stress, and Health-Professional Advice Seeking among Undergraduate Nursing Students: A Cross-Sectional Study”. The dataset includes 506 undergraduate nursing students from the Centro Universitario de Ciencias de la Salud, Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico. Variables include sociodemographic characteristics, grouped residence and household variables, tobacco and alcohol indicators, perceived academic and vacation-period stress, willingness to improve lifestyle, health-professional advice seeking, health-information source, 52 HPLP-II item responses, and HPLP-II global/subscale scores. The accompanying R scripts reproduce the psychometric checks, exploratory factor analysis, k-means profile analysis, robust HC3 regression models, sensitivity analyses, low-HPLP logistic model, propensity-score/IPTW balance diagnostics, and manuscript figures/tables. Direct identifiers were removed before public release, and sparse residence/economic-support categories were grouped to reduce re-identification risk.
