Durieux, [e-mail] Link to publication: PASTE ONCE PUBLISHED Description of UVC data The files "DataDentex_all.csv", "DataEpinephelus_all.csv", "DataSciaena_all.csv" contain the raw data aquired during the UVC for the three species examined. Column descriptions: - Mission: describes the UVC protocol used for the transect, "MOPAMFISH" corresponds to the Cross, and "PNMCCA" to the Comb protocol - Saison: describes the season in which the transect was examined, "Automne" stands for autumn, "Ete" for summer - Site_transect: describes the transect site, values A1-A4, N1-N4, and C1-C6 correspond to the values as given in the overview table (table 1) in the paper - Localisation: describes the overarching location, values are "Agriate", "Canelle", and "Nonza" - Date: describes the day of survey - Temporalite: is value stating season and year in combined form. "aut" classifies autumn, "ete" classifies summer, and the numbers the year of conduction - Time_Of_Day: the time of the survey - Protection_Status: the protection status of the site which can be "Cantonnement" which stands for the no-take zone, and "Hors_cantonnement" which is non-protected - Transect_Number: numbers of the individual transects replicates for each site - Species: the species examined - Area_m2: the area in m2 covered for the transect - classe10_15 until classe_sup_75: describing the individuals observed in each of the size classes. classe10_15 for example describes individuals from 10cm-15cm length. classe_sup_75 is the largest class considered at >75cm - Sum: is the sum of individuals observed at the transect Acknowledgments We would like to thank the Natural Marine Park of Cape Corsica and Agriate (MNP CCA) for granting us the opportunity to conduct this study within the protected areas and for all the field assistance throughout the project.
