A genetically engineered mouse model of metastatic colorectal cancer harboring an inducible oncogenic Kras allele (Krasmut) and conditional null alleles of Apc and Trp53 tumor suppressors was generated. Deletion of the loxP-conditional Apc and Trp53 tumor suppressor genes was controlled with an intestinal-specific and tamoxifen inducible Villin-Cre-ERT2 promoter, and then delivering 4-OHT tamoxifen directly to the adult colon with an enema procedure. The tet-O-LSL-KrasG12D is additionally doxycycline responsive and the Cre recombined allele will remain on only if doxycycline is provided in the food or water. Whole exome and RNA sequencing of the primary tumor, metastatic tumor, and tumor-derived cell lines (with-and-without doxycycline treatment) from multiple mice are made available here.
