To expand our global understanding of the natural product biosynthetic potential of Actinobacteria from diverse genera, we sequenced, assembled, and annotated the genome of the Actinobacterium Kibdelosporangium sp. MJ126-NF4 using multiple next generation sequencing technologies. This genome is the first from the rare genus Kibdelosporangium to be reported, and will be a valuable resource for bioinformatics-guided natural product discovery.
