Comparison of bacterial communities at petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated sites through 16S rRNA pyrosequencing. The aim of this study is to understand the resident microbial community structure for oil contaminated soil collected from North-east India. The results should help us to devise more effective methods for the bioremediation of hydrocarbon contaminated soils.
