Based on complex systems theory and adopting spatial analysis and geographic process simulation methods, a research framework for risk scenario projection and spatial early warning of bay-watershed ecosystems under the stress of urban expansion is established. This framework can provide a reliable basis for subsequent relevant studies on the urban agglomeration in the Min River Delta region.
