Research on the Impact of Intellectual Property Protection on Technology Market Activity

The research sample is the panel data of prefecture level cities from 2009 to 2023. The patent transfer information comes from the patent information service platform and smart bud patent database of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, the list of national intellectual property demonstration cities comes from the official website of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, and other city level variable data comes from the China Urban Statistical Yearbook over the years and the statistical bulletin of national economic and social development of prefecture level cities. A few missing values are supplemented by linear interpolation.
