资源简介:
The dataset comprises data collected as part of a study on post-exercise recovery strategies to increase the performance of Polish martial arts athletes. The study compares post-exercise methods: cryosauna, cold-water immersion, and foam rolling. The dataset consists of seven separate but interconnected CSV files (workbooks) that share a consistent formatting structure. These files show the athletes' performance as pre- and post-test results, including demographic data, the countermovement jump (CMJ), delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS), the recovery-stress questionnaire (RESTQ), the determination test (DT) from the Vienna test system, muscle function testing of the lower limbs with an Isokinetic dynamometer, and the modified taekwondo anaerobic intermittent kick test (TAIKT).
The study aims to analyze and compare the effects of post-exercise recovery strategies (cryosauna, cold-water immersion, and foam rolling) on performance in Polish athletes. The results establish a scientific basis and can inform future research on the mechanisms behind post-exercise recovery methods and their impact on athletes' performance.
