Properties of K0.5Na0.5NbO3 – Ni0.4Zn0.6Fe2O4 composites synthesised by wet chemistry methods

The dataset contains experimental data obtained for K₀.₅Na₀.₅NbO₃–Ni₀.₄Zn₀.₆Fe₂O₄ composite ceramics. KNN powders were synthesised using a modified Pechini method with citric acid as a chelating agent, while NZF powders were prepared by chemical co-precipitation. The powders were mixed in selected ratios, ball-milled, pressed into pellets and sintered in air. The materials were characterised using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, FT-IR spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and electrical and magnetic measurements. Data are related to article titled "Ferroelectric-ferromagnetic composites based on KNN and ferrite powders synthesised by wet chemistry methods " published in Ceramics International
