Volume of iron produced in South Africa 2015-2022

In 2022, the total production volume of iron in South Africa reached around 41.4 million metric tons. This was a drop in volume compared to the previous year which amounted to nearly 47.6 million metric tons. Previously, the country's iron production was highest in 2017 at roughly 48.81 million metric tons.
