The Core-S2L1C-SSL4EO dataset is an embedding dataset based on the Sentinel-2 (Level 1C) multispectral dataset, containing 56,147,150 embeddings. These embeddings are extracted from the Major TOM Core-S2L1C dataset using the SSL4EO-ResNet50-DINO model. Each sample in the dataset contains multiple fields such as unique ID, embedding array, grid cell, product ID, timestamp, etc., to describe the features of satellite images. The dataset was computed using GPU-accelerated instances provided by CloudFerro and was performed on the CREODIAS cloud service platform. This dataset is part of the Major TOM Global Embeddings Project, aiming to provide open and free vectorized expansions and define a standardized manner for releasing Major TOM embedding expansions.
