Digitised NHMUK Entomological Slide Collections of Aleyrodoidea, Psylloidea, Coccoidea and Thysanoptera tagged to New Zealand

This is the first version of the dataset that the Digitisation Team (The Natural History Museum, London) provided to researchers for the BioWhere project. The project was used as material for Digitiser training in label transcription and georeferencing, therefore the quality of the data varies due to differing experience levels. Due to being a training dataset, and capturing as much present label data as possible, not all columns in this dataset adhere to Darwin Core values. Where possible, Darwin Core terms were later added above the column title that was used during training. This first version of the dataset was provided to the BioWhere project as test material for their georeferencing models. In the future we plan to clean, standardise and publish the data in a version that is more coherent and consistent.
