Once 2020's coronavirus pandemic has subsided, online grocery purchases made by Belgian consumers are expected to grow by nearly 25 percent. This is a considerable increase compared to the pre-COVID-19 days. Online purchasing growth is projected to increase strongly for various categories, such as alcohol, skin care & makeup products. Snacks would report the highest increase with 43 percent.
