Desert soil microbiome metagenomics and resistome

Soil samples were collected from two agricultural sites (K1 and K3) and one coastal site (K2), representing distinct ecological conditions. Microbial community analysis revealed significant variation at both phylum and genus levels. Consistent with prior soil microbiome studies, antibiotic resistance genes—including tetA, aac(3)-Ib, sul1, qep, muxB, mexW, mexB, and macB—were detected across all sites.
