Soil analysis and survey data for selected farms in western Kenya under annual and perennial cropping system.

The data shows soil and survey data for selected farms in Busia,  Siaya, Busia, Vihiga, Kisumu and Homabay in western Kenya. The data contains soil texture, bulk density, pH, carbon, nitrogen and aggregate stability in maize and plots under forage for more than five years. The survey data shows the management and yield of the two cropping systems. The data was collected in November and December of 2023 and analyzed in 2024.
