Water Framework Directive Surface Water Bodies (Lines) (WFD)

Water Framework Directive for surface water bodies (lines) Rijkswaterstaat. This file contains the current surface water bodies of the category 'river' under management at Rijkswaterstaat represented as a line. For all WFD surface water bodies Rijkswaterstaat (in addition to rivers also lakes, transitional water and coastal water), reference is made to the Water Framework Directive for surface water bodies (planes). The Rijkswaterstaat Water Framework Directive for surface water bodies is part of the national database of WFD surface water bodies, which also includes the surface water bodies of water boards. The national WFD surface water bodies database is accessed via the Water Information House. The attribute information is a combination of the EU reporting specifications and Inspire theme Area of Management with the IHW specifications surface water bodies.
