Last data update: April 28, 2021 The Emergency Management System (EMS) Vulnerable Line is an inundation product consisting of a polygon layer highlighting sections of roadway and/or railway infrastructure that are inundated or intersected by the EMS Flood Events. This inundation product should be used in conjunction with EMS Vulnerable Structures for any EMS planning discussion. The EMS Vulnerable Line layer is a new inundation product created from an analysis of the EMS Flood Event layers and available linear infrastructure information. The original road and railway layer information used as a base in the analysis was obtained from Provincial, Regional and Municipal Partners through existing data sharing frameworks. The existing EMS Flood Event layers were used to identify the storm level that intersects with linear infrastructure such as roadway and railways.
