<p>Data for this study were obtained from a probability cross-section sample of 2,767 adults interviewed following the June 1968 federal election. There are 530 variables in the dataset.</p> <p>Besides basic background information, questions were asked about reactions to the election outcome, evaluations of the parties and candidates, regional conflicts within Canada and a wide variety of issues that were salient during the campaign.</p>
