Fibroblasts elongate and align circumferentially around the agarose peg. Toroid nuclei and F-actin were labelled and imaged to determine the orientation of cells within a toroid. F-actin fibers were oriented circumferentially following the same curvature as the agarose peg. Similarly, nuclei were oriented and elongated in the circumferential direction.
