Transcriptional response of the QS-negative D. shibae strain ?luxI1 towards externally added 500nM autoinducer (AI) 3-oxo-C14-HSL over a time period of 3 hours. Overall design: Samples from three independent cultures were withdrawn. Each of the three replicate cultures were split and treated with either autoinducer or DMSO as control. Samples from AI treated cultures were taken 10, 20, 40, 60, 120 and 180 minutes after treatment, Samples from DMSO treated cultures were taken 60 and 180 minutes after treatment
