Religious and Spiritual Care for Members of the Slovenian Armed Forces in the 21st Century, 2025

The DUH-2025 survey is part of the targeted research project »Religious and Spiritual Care for Members of the Slovenian Armed Forces in the 21st Century (REL-DUH SV)«, (MORS/NZ-RRS/ARRS/UL). Survey was conducted among members of the Slovenian Armed Forces using the 1KA tool between March and June 2025. It included 48 questions and was answered by 142 members of the Slovenian Armed Forces. The survey aimed to examine the experiences, attitudes, and needs of Slovenian Armed Forces members regarding religious and spiritual care, as well as its perceived impact on well-being, ethical decision-making, interpersonal relations, and operational functioning within the military environment. The data were collected to analyse the existing system of spiritual care in the Slovenian Armed Forces and to prepare proposals for its further development. As part of the study another data publication was produced: Religiozna in duhovna oskrba za pripadnike Slovenske vojske v 21. stoletju, 2025: Intervjuji z izvajalci duhovne oskrbe, which includes 11 semi-structured interviews.
