Dataset for: Insulation Hydrophobicity Classification Based on Fourier Transform and Shallow Neural Networks

This dataset was produced by applying the spray method (IEC Standard 62073) in a hydrophobic surface. A total of 1200 photos were taken from all hydrophobicity classes using a solution of distilled water and ethyl alcohol as spraying solution. Sections of the captured images were cropped to a size of 1024 x 1024 pixels and downscaled to 256 x 256 to reduce computational effort. The dataset is comprised by 200 images for each of the six hydrophobicity classes, from HC1 to HC6.
