LncRNAs associated with 20E-induced autophagy in Bombyx mori

Long non-coding RNAs play important role in many different biological processed. The regulatory mechanism of lncRNAs at the different stages of autophagy in mammals have been investigated.20-hydroxyecdysone-induced autophagy is detected during the larval-pupal transition in different insects. However, research on insects lncRNAs and their function during metamorphosis and autophagy remain unclear. In order to elucidate the role of lncRNAs on autophagy regulation and other biological processes in B. mori, RNA sequencing of samples from the fat body of B. mori were performed to analyze the genome-wide transcriptome changes associated with the 20E response in this study.
