Insecticide resistance in Chilo suppressalis

In this project, we employ transcriptome sequencing to analyze field populations of Chio suppressalis that display distinct levels of resistance to mutilple insecticide, along with control groups of sensitive lines. The objective is to identify SNPs and genes that are differentially expressed, which may be associated with the development of insecticide resistance. By comparing the genetic profiles and gene expression patterns between the resistant and sensitive populations, we aim to uncover key molecular markers and pathways that contribute to the resistance phenotype. This information is crucial for the development of strategies to manage and mitigate insecticide resistance in pest populations.
