The co-metabolic effect formed by the BGH strain and additional carbon sources promotes phenol degradation, enhancing denitrification efficiency in the SNDF process and leading to more thorough degradation reactions. To further understand the microbial community structure under microaerobic conditions, this study conducted 16S rRNA sequencing analysis on three groups within the SNDF process: activated sludge +srtain BGH, activated sludge + strain BGH + G, and activated sludge +strain BGH + SA.
