VPRS 17942 Admission and Discharge Register

This series consists of register of admission and discharges from Lutheran Peace Memorial Children's Home (VA 5098).Headings used in the registers are:- Name of Child- Date and Location of Birth- Parent or Guardian- Parents Address and Phone- Date of Arrival (at Lutheran)- Date of Departure- Remarks.Some headings were added later, including: Gender; Board/Maintenance; and Religion.The second volume's entries conclude in August 1975 but were amended with an extra couple of admissions (one for a family of three children), in 1982 after the Lutheran Peace Memorial Children's Home had closed. It is unknown which Lutheran children's home the children had been admitted to, but the second entry is incomplete indicating that the staff member decided to discontinue using the volume.
