pH homeostasis Acididesulfobacillus acetoxydans

We used laboratory-scale bioreactor steady-state continuous cultures (chemostats, triplicates) to observe physiological, genomic and transcriptomic changes at different pH [5.0, 4.4, 3.5, 3.2 and 2.9]. At pH 5.0, 3.5, 3.2 and 2.9 (only two reactors) transcriptome samples were taken and compared. The genome was sampled at the start of only one reactor and of three reactors at the end.
