River gauging station data from two streams in the Greiner Lake watershed, Cambridge Bay, Victoria Island

In order to contribute to the understanding of interactions among element cycles, hydrology, climate, and ecosystems, river gauging stations have been installed on two streams in the Intensively Monitored Area of the CHARS Experimental and Reference Area. The first river gauging station has been installed on the river connecting First Lake and Greiner Lake, while the second river gauging station has been installed on a small thermokarst stream. The river gauging stations recorded stream data from the beginning of August, after their installation, and until mid-September, when the station sensors were retrieved from field in anticipation of stream freeze-up.
