Multibeam Sonar Acoustic Backscatter data from the Izu-Bonin Marianas Margin and West Mariana Ridge - US Law of the Sea Compilation

This data set was acquired with ship-based Kongsberg EM122 and EM121A Multibeam Sonar systems as part of a 2010 data compilation (Investigators Dr. James Gardner and Mr. Andrew Armstrong). These data files are in ESRI ASCII Grid format and include gridded Acoustic Backscatter data and were processed after data collection. The data set was acquired as part of the project called Compilation of UNH Law of the Sea Bathymetry and Backscatter Mapping in the Marianas Region, and funding was provided through a Law of the Sea grant. This data was cited by Gardner, 2010.
