The 2011 follow-up survey was conducted by Oxford Research on behalf of Innovation Norway. The survey is part of the customer impact study, and consists of the responses that the companies provided approximately four years after they received support from Innovation Norway. The same companies were interviewed about their project expectations the year after they received the support (pre-survey). The purpose of the customer impact surveys is twofold. Firstly, there is an internal purpose which involves improving and further developing Innovation Norway's operations. Secondly, there is an external purpose which answers the question "what have we gotten in return for the money?".
This survey includes 28 of Innovation Norway's services. Compared to the 2010 follow-up survey (26 services), this year's survey includes four new services (Design Consulting, Entrepreneurship, Local Food Programme, and Environmental Technology). The Incubator Grant and Value Creation Programme Food are out of the survey. The latter has been replaced by the Local Food Programme.
