Cloud amount/frequency, SALINITY and other data from unknown platforms in the NW Atlantic from 1964-09-24 to 1965-07-30 (NCEI Accession 9600040)

The Ocean Serial data in this accession was collected from NW Atlantic (limit-40 W) as part of Military Oceanographic Survey (MILOC). The data was collected between September 24, 1964 and July 30, 1965 from 400 stations using seven ships. Oceanographic Station Data contain physical and chemical oceanographic data recorded at discrete depth levels. The data containing 6,259 80-character records was submitted to NODC by Dr. Harry Dooley, International Council for Exploration of the Sea, Denmark via FTP. The data was converted by Bob Gelfeld into NODC SD II format .
