We propose to continue collecting XMM-Newton snapshot observations of a sampleof rapidly rotating B-type stars. These observations should unveil the X-rayemission of a putative small-scale corona associated with localized magneticfields produced by a dynamo mechanism in a sub-surface convective layer.
