SEMANTIC COMPARISON OF DIPLOMATIC TERMS IN THE RUSSIAN AND UZBEK LANGUAGES

This article presents a detailed comparative analysis of the semantic structure of diplomatic terms in Russian and Uzbek, their level of equivalence, and the relationship between assimilation and national alternatives. It compares the general characteristics of diplomatic terminology, the history of its study in Russian linguistics, works on Uzbek linguistics, and the semantic fields of key terms. The article aims to increase the terminological compatibility of the two languages, improve translation practices, and strengthen national diplomatic terminology.
