Adjustments to planting and breeding strategies can be made based on THI values to enhance yield and product quality.
Data collected from the aforementioned farm in Siwei Village, Linping District can be used to calculate the farm's THI, with the formula given as follows: THI = 0.8 × Temperature + Relative Humidity × (Temperature − 14.4) + 46.4. A higher THI value indicates a greater degree of heat stress.
