The iNaturalist Sounds Dataset (iNatSounds) is a collection of audio files submitted in 2024 by contributors to the global citizen science platform iNaturalist. This dataset includes 230,000 audio recordings capturing sounds from over 5,500 species, contributed by more than 27,000 recorders worldwide. It encompasses sounds of birds, mammals, insects, reptiles and amphibians, with both the audio data and species labels sourced from observation records submitted to iNaturalist.
