HiGTS

HiGTS is a high-resolution global gridded dataset of human thermal stress indices. Derived using climate variables from ERA5-Land and ERA5, the HiGTS consists of hourly gridded maps of MRT, UTCI, UTCI level, and daily TSD at 0.1° × 0.1° spatial resolution over the global land surface. It spans from January 1, 2000, to December 31, 2023. However, the data in December 2023 was uploaded for demonstration due to repository capacity limitations. The full dataset is available and free to download via the Data Sharing and Service Portal which is built for the release and sharing of data resources of the Big Earth Data Science Engineering Project (CASEarth) launched by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
