The entry contains Wave direction and other data collected from fixed
platforms and other platforms from North Atlantic Ocean between July 1,
1969 and September 30, 1973. These data were submitted by Heinz Gunther.
There are two files in this accession. One file contains Wave data
collected by the University of Hamburg Institut fur Geophysik in the
North Atlantic, Western British Coast in July 1969 as part of the
JONSWAP 69 cruise. Original wave data was filed under NODC reference number
L00839. The other file included on this tape was Wind data collected by the
University of Hamburg Institut fur Geophysik in the North Atlantic,
Western British Coast in September 1973 as part of the JONSWAP 73
cruise. Original wind data was filed under NODC reference number L00840.
