Transcriptome analysis of osteosarcoma cell lines treated with FDA-approved drugs

In order to understand the effect of FDA-approved drugs including doxorubicin (DOX) and HDACs inhibitors (PXD101 and PCI-24781) on osteosarcoma, 143B osteosarcoma cells were treated with the single agents or combinations of these drugs. Three biological replicates of each sample were processed for next-generation sequencing (NGS). Overall design: 143B osteosarcoma cells were treated with 0.1µM DOX, 1.5µM PXD101, 1.5µM PCI-24781, the combination of 0.1µM DOX and 1.5µM PXD101, the combination of 0.1µM DOX and 1.5µM PCI-24781 and DMSO for 24 hours and subjected to NGS.
